Udayan Bapat

Udayan Bapat is an experienced embedded software engineer with a robust background in software development, performance benchmarking, and storage systems. Currently employed at Meta since April 2022, Udayan's work involves embedded software and GPU performance. Prior roles include significant contributions at the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation, where Udayan was a lead contributor to the SPECstorage2020 benchmark and received the SPECtacular Award. Udayan has also held key positions at Cohesity, NetApp, Cisco Systems, Ericsson, CriTech Research, Orion Systems, and Vitronics, focusing on areas such as storage performance, cloud performance, virtualization, and real-time embedded software development. Udayan holds multiple master's degrees in Computer Networks and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control from COEP Technological University.
