Utkarsh Murarka

Utkarsh Murarka is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and software development. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Infrastructure Engineer at Meta since October 2024, Utkarsh previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at SambaNova Systems, where the focus was on building compilers for a custom machine learning accelerator chip. Additionally, a Corporate Startup Lab Fellowship was completed at the Corporate Startup Lab, and earlier roles include a Research Assistant at CyLab, where work involved creating data pipelines for anomaly detection and researching security solutions. At Rakuten, Utkarsh progressed through several roles, leading a team to develop a cloud-native platform, implementing KYC systems, and enhancing backend services for millions of users. Utkarsh holds a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
