Vicky Xu

Vicky (Weiting) Xu has extensive experience in data engineering and bioinformatics, beginning with a role as a Research Assistant at New Jersey Institute of Technology, where research-based bioinformatics pipelines were developed using R and Linux. Vicky then served as a Bioinformatics Analyst at Rutgers University, focusing on statistical modeling and data analysis with R, SQL, and Python, and implemented hierarchical clustering algorithms. Transitioning to industry, Vicky worked at Affinity Solutions as a BI and Data Engineer, where reporting and insights on customer spending behavior were automated using SQL, Python, and Tableau. Most recently, Vicky joined Meta as a Data Engineer after working at Wish from February 2022 to November 2023.
