Vignesh Ramanathan

Vignesh Ramanathan is an accomplished researcher and engineer with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Vignesh held roles as Senior Research Scientist Manager at Meta within the FAIR Accel team and as Senior Staff Research Scientist at Facebook AI from August 2016 to August 2021. Prior to this, Vignesh gained valuable experience at Google as a Software Engineering Intern, developing models for player and action detection in basketball videos and automating the discovery of image query relations. Vignesh's early career included a summer internship at Nokia. Vignesh obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology with Honours in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
