Viraj Puri

Viraj Puri is a software engineer currently employed at Meta, working on the core product of Threads, after previously focusing on Messenger/GenAI. Viraj gained valuable experience as a teaching assistant for the Constructive Logic course at Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science and completed two internships at Facebook, where responsibilities included iOS app development for the Facebook app and work on the core mobile app. Additional internship experience includes a role at AT&T Labs, Inc., where Viraj navigated unfamiliar programming languages and collaborative project work. Viraj holds a Master of Science in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics/Machine Learning and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
