Vivek G.

Vivek G. is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in optical systems and process development. Currently serving at Meta since July 2020 as a Senior Engineering Leader, Vivek G. manages a team focused on viewing optics integration for AR and VR systems, driving technical solutions involving thin films and materials. Prior to this, Vivek G. held the position of TLM at Apple from July 2015 to July 2020, where responsibilities included leading teams in the design of optical coatings and surface patterns. Earlier experience at Applied Materials from October 2005 to July 2015 included management roles, overseeing process engineers, and developing advanced titanium nitride hardmask technologies for semiconductor applications. Vivek G. holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from YMCA University of Science and Technology.
