Volker Harbrecht

Volker Harbrecht is an experienced professional in eCommerce and business development, currently serving as the Head of eCommerce DACH at Meta since February 2020. In this role, Volker supports the growth of eCommerce businesses globally by leveraging Meta's suite of applications and advising on business strategies and marketing. Previously, Volker held various leadership positions at eBay from 2011 to 2019, including PMO and Category Lead for Business & Industry, where responsibilities spanned project management, inventory, and seller management. Early career experiences include consulting roles at OC&C Strategy Consultants and internship positions at notable firms such as Ernst & Young and The Boston Consulting Group. Volker holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, as well as a Dipl.-Ing. in Architecture from the Technical University of Munich.
