Walter Nistico

Walter Nistico is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in computer vision and machine learning. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Reality Labs at Meta, Walter previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Apple focusing on deep learning and computer vision. Walter's prior experience includes serving as the VP of Engineering and CTO at SMI SensoMotoric Instruments GmbH, as well as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer and Project Lead at the same company. Walter's career also features a role as Project Lead for "Microsoft Hellhounds" and Research Assistant at TU Dortmund University’s Institut für Roboterforschung.
