Wei-Di Chang is a skilled researcher with a strong background in robotics and artificial intelligence. At Samsung Research America, from November 2021 to September 2023, Wei-Di Chang made significant contributions by developing methods for improving generalization in learning from demonstrations for robotic manipulation and creating a time-series anomaly detection system for 4/5G networks. Research findings were presented at prominent conferences, including ICRA 2025 and ICC 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Software Division Co-Lead and AUV State Estimation Developer at McGill Robotics, as well as a Summer Engineering Intern position at GAO RFID Inc. Wei-Di Chang is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at McGill University, having previously earned a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the same institution.
