Wei Lu possesses extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on biomedical applications and advanced electronics. Starting as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Wei contributed to the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope project from April 2015 to June 2017. A subsequent role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Northwestern University from July 2017 to January 2020 involved the design and development of flexible, wireless, implantable or wearable electronics. Wei transitioned to the role of Senior Electrical Engineer at Gener8 from April 2020 to March 2022, leading the development of Covid-19 testing equipment based on surface plasmon resonance technology. Currently, Wei serves as an Electrical Engineer at Meta, focusing on next-generation VR/MR hardware and Smart Glasses development since April 2022. Wei holds a PhD in Particle Detector and Electronics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology from Zhengzhou University.
