Wei P.

Wei P. has extensive experience in engineering management and research within technology-focused companies. Serving as an Engineering Manager at Meta since March 2022, Wei P. oversees a team specializing in computer vision and large-scale machine learning infrastructure. Previously, Wei P. managed an R&D team at the National Robotics Engineering Center, leading projects in data collection and deep learning model deployment. Experience at Uber involved developing and commercializing computer vision and machine learning algorithms for self-driving vehicles, while earlier work at Qualcomm focused on statistical modeling in video processing. Wei P. holds both a BS and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
