Wei Wen

Wei Wen is an accomplished researcher and leader in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence, with significant experience at leading technology companies. Wei Wen began a career in research as an intern at Microsoft Research Asia in 2013, later gaining experience at Facebook AI, where work focused on improving distributed machine learning systems and resulting in a project, TernGrad, being implemented in production. Wei Wen further contributed to advancements in automated machine learning as a Research Scholar at Google Brain and has held multiple roles at Meta, culminating in a position as Tech Lead Manager and Research Scientist. Wei Wen’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree from Beihang University, as well as a PhD from Duke University, enhancing expertise in the field.
