Weidan Wu

Weidan Wu is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and backend development. At DiDi, from October 2021 to March 2023, Weidan developed an imitation learning model for trajectory prediction, overseeing the entire model development cycle and leading exploration efforts in advanced modeling techniques. Since March 2023, Weidan has been a Staff Software Engineer at Meta. Prior experience includes a tenure at Google from January 2016 to September 2021, where enhancements were made to the backend and machine learning infrastructure of Google Duplex, as well as contributions to Google Assistant dialog development. Weidan holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from both the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Duke University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sun Yat-Sen University.
