WEILUN PENG

Weilun Peng has extensive experience in autonomous driving and perception technology, having served as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where work involved the Generalized ICP algorithm for Lidar calibration and developing a time synchronization algorithm. Subsequent roles included an ADAS Intern at Isuzu North America, where a paper on autonomous capability validation was published, and a Senior Software Engineer at Pony.ai, focusing on L4 perception and prediction. Currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Meta, Weilun holds two Master's degrees in Robotics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
