Weiyan Sun is a data science professional with a robust background in operations research and industrial engineering. With experience at prestigious organizations such as Meta, Capital One, and McCombs School of Business, Weiyan has developed expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and statistical modeling. Key accomplishments include leading the development of a real-time multi-armed bandit API at Capital One that significantly improved application rates, conducting thorough investigations of income inequality using microdata while serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, and implementing complex data mining processes to assess fraud activity at Integra Financial & Economic Consulting.
