Wendy Roldan

Wendy Roldan, PhD, has extensive experience in user experience research and design, with a focus on equity in knowledge systems. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, Wendy conducted research for a dissertation on equity in design. Wendy's professional background includes roles as a User Experience Researcher at Facebook and Google, where projects involved ads and business products as well as Google Search. Wendy also served as a Senior Admissions Counselor at Northwestern University, engaging with prospective students and families, and worked as a Customer Insights Research Analyst at H-E-B, conducting qualitative research. Currently, Wendy holds the position of Senior User Experience Researcher at Meta, focusing on Business Messaging. Wendy earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and a PhD in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington.
