Xi Liu

Xi Liu is an accomplished research scientist specializing in machine learning, actively serving in this role at Facebook and Meta since June 2020. Additionally, Xi holds the title of Ph.D. Machine Learning Engineer and Researcher at Meta and has advanced to the position of Staff Research Scientist in Machine Learning. Prior experience includes an internship at Samsung Research America, where innovative deep semi-supervised representation learning models were developed for user-game-level and game-level churn prediction, achieving notable results on extensive datasets. Previous internship experience at Fujitsu Network Communications involved the creation of data-driven solutions to estimate network port delays and identify issues related to packet loss or delay. Xi Liu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
