Xi Yang

Xi Yang currently serves as the Director of Wireless Architect & Platform at Meta, a position held since February 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Meta as a Senior Manager focusing on wireless system teams and at Apple as an RF System Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager, where significant contributions were made to WLAN and Bluetooth technologies for mobile devices. Academic background encompasses a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Beihang University. Early career experiences include research assistant roles at The Ohio State University and Ecole Centrale de Lyon, where innovative technologies in software-defined radio and CMOS-based circuits were developed.
