Xia (Stanley) Chen is an accomplished engineering professional with a strong background in robotics and mechanical engineering. Xia completed a Master of Science in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Xia began a career as a Research Engineer Intern at WeRide.ai, focusing on pano-view based LiDAR segmentation and detection networks. Subsequently, Xia advanced to a Senior Software Engineer role in Perception at Waymo, contributing to the development of autonomous vehicle perception systems. Currently, Xia serves as a Research Engineer in GenAI at Meta.
