Xianjun Yang

Xianjun Yang is a Research Scientist with experience at Meta, focusing on AI reasoning, search, and safety within the GenAI team. Prior to this role, Xianjun held internships at various esteemed organizations, including Amazon, where work was done in the Trust & Safety team, and Shanghai AI Laboratory, concentrating on the safety and alignment of large language models (LLM). Additionally, research at NEC Laboratories America involved prompting for natural language understanding and the detection of AI-generated content. Xianjun is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara, having also studied Computational and Experimental Fluid Mechanics at the same institution.
