Xiaqing Pan

Xiaqing Pan has a diverse background in software engineering and research, beginning with an internship at Hansom Intelligent Traffic Co., Ltd, where vehicle surveillance systems were installed for Expo 2010. Subsequent roles included financial software engineering at Bloomberg LP, where a 3-tier settlement data management application was developed, and multiple internships focusing on software engineering, such as enhancing night vision visibility at MCINNOVA and creating a super-resolution system at Unio3. Xiaqing Pan contributed to the University of Southern California as a research assistant, addressing 3D shape classification with a Volumetric Convolutional Neural Network, and led a team at Southbay Motion Picture Technologies, Inc. to develop a 2D-to-3D conversion system for films and VR images. Most recently, Xiaqing Pan held positions at Meta as a Senior Research Engineering Manager and Senior Staff Research Engineer in the Greater Seattle Area.
