Ximing Yu has extensive experience in software engineering, having worked at leading tech companies including Microsoft, Uber, Meta, and Twitter. At Microsoft, Ximing focused on SharePoint Online as a Software Development Engineer. Transitioning to Twitter, Ximing contributed to Twitter Cards and Direct Messages. Ximing's role at Uber involved transforming the core business logic from a monolithic API to microservices, emphasizing Cities and Trips. Since March 2016, Ximing has been with Meta, initially working on Bladerunner and currently developing a new messaging-based social experience. Ximing holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
