Xin Dong is a highly experienced professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Meta since July 2021. Prior to this, Xin held the position of Sr. Principal Scientist at Amazon, where foundational work was done on the Product Graph project, focusing on knowledge graph development for retail and digital products. At Google, as a Senior Research Scientist, Xin led machine learning initiatives and developed systems for collecting tail knowledge. Xin's career began at AT&T Labs-Research, contributing to the Data Fusion research area and building data fusion systems. Xin's research experience also includes work at the University of Washington, where the Semex Personal Information Management system and Woogle Web-Service Search Engine were developed, along with a publication in the VLDBJ Special Issue. Xin Dong earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Master of Science from Peking University.
