Xin Gao

Xin Gao has a strong background in applied science and machine learning, with significant experience at Amazon as an Applied Scientist in both AWS AI and Alexa AI, where Xin developed and launched a GenAI assistant utilizing advanced techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation and hybrid vector search. Prior roles include positions as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at NIO and HERE Technologies, and a Research Scientist at Meta. Xin also served as Founding Lead GenAI Scientist at a Stealth AI Startup and has held academic positions as a Lab Instructor and Research Assistant at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Xin holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Law from Nankai University and a PhD from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
