Yael Brumer

Yael Brumer is an experienced machine learning engineering manager with a strong background in developing and optimizing machine learning systems across multiple organizations. Currently serving as an ML Engineering Manager at Meta since September 2025, Yael previously held the same position at Reddit, Inc. from April 2023 to September 2025, leading the Notifications Relevance team to enhance notification delivery systems. Prior experience includes serving as an ML Engineering Manager at Twitter, where Yael developed topical tweet recommendation models, along with significant roles at Microsoft, including Staff ML Engineer and Applied Scientist. At Microsoft, Yael led cross-functional teams in delivering ML-driven solutions and enhanced cloud customer support. Early career experience includes roles at Intel Corporation and EDS Group, focusing on systems analysis, requirements mapping, and software training. Yael holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Information System Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
