Yahya Mortazavi is an experienced engineer with a focus on RF and mm-wave integrated circuit design and system development. Yahya began a career in design engineering at Pardis Processing Tech, specializing in FPGA-based baseband design for communication systems from February 2006 to April 2011. Subsequently, Yahya held senior engineering roles at Qualcomm and AMD, concentrating on RF/analog and mm-wave integrated circuit design between July 2016 and April 2020. From April 2020 to October 2021, Yahya contributed to mm-wave/rf hardware and system design at Amazon Lab126, including work on the Amazon Halo Rise and mm-wave radar systems. Currently, Yahya is involved in RF technology and platform development at Meta since October 2021. Academically, Yahya holds a Doctor of Philosophy in mm-Wave/RF Integrated Circuit Design from Virginia Tech, along with a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University and the University of Tehran, respectively.
