Yan Yan is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software and hardware development. Yan served as a Senior Engineer at Oracle from June 2011 to October 2015, focusing on the design and maintenance of the I/O controller logic module for the next generation SPARC CPU. Prior to that, Yan interned at Maxim Integrated Products, where responsibilities included characterizing a new temperature sensor device and developing a demo board. From October 2015 to July 2020, Yan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Uber, contributing to the Data Analytics Platform team and the Marketplace Platform team by building a streaming process platform with Apache Flink and a real-time dispatch system. Currently, Yan is a Software Engineer at Meta since July 2020. Yan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
