Yanai Golany

Yanai Golany is a seasoned data science leader with extensive experience in strategy, analytics, and operations across prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Meta since November 2018, Yanai oversees the integration of AI and analytics within Meta's Global Data Centers. Prior to this, Yanai held various roles at Verizon from 2014 to 2018, including Director of Strategy & Analytics, where innovations in machine learning and supply chain methodologies led to significant operational improvements. Yanai's career commenced at Elbit Systems Ltd, where leadership in systems engineering and design was applied to high-stakes projects. Educational qualifications include an MBA and MS from MIT Sloan School of Management and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a BSc from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
