Yang Liu

James Yang currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at OneAmerica Financial, a position held since August 2018. Prior to this, James held the role of Director of IT Strategy, Security Governance, Risk & Compliance at CNO Financial Group from July 2016 to August 2018. James's extensive experience includes a tenure at Cummins Inc. from July 2006 to July 2016, where notable achievements include the development of the award-winning Business Criticality Driven IT framework and the launch of the first disaster recovery planning service. Earlier career highlights feature significant contributions at Openwave Systems and Cummins Inc. as a consultant and senior developer, respectively. James holds an MBA in Finance and a Master's in Information Management from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Purdue University.
