Yang LOU

Yang LOU is a highly skilled researcher with extensive experience in applied research within the fields of computational medical imaging and virtual/augmented reality technologies. Currently serving as a Staff Applied Research Scientist at Meta since January 2022, Yang previously held the position of Senior Applied Research Scientist at Meta and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Facebook. Yang's early research at the Medical Imaging Lab at Tsinghua University involved sparsity-enhanced reconstruction methods in Fluorescence Tomography. Yang obtained a PhD in Computational Medical Imaging from Washington University in St. Louis, where research focused on developing and optimizing GPU-accelerated 3D image reconstruction algorithms. Education includes a B.S. in Automation from Tsinghua University.
