Yanke Sun is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in robotics and machine learning. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Meta since August 2025, Yanke Sun previously held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and PhD Researcher at UCL, focusing on algorithm development for robotics and social interaction analysis using machine learning. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Assistant in Data Analysis at Arm China and a Marketing Intern, where responsibilities included technical writing and support for online webinars. Yanke Sun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UCL, a Master of Science in Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuit Design from Imperial College London, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Electronics Engineering at UCL.
