Yanling Wang

Yanling Wang is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in product design and user experience across multiple prestigious companies. At Microsoft from December 2008 to May 2014, Yanling served as a Senior Product Designer, leading the design of touch experiences for Office products on iPad, iPhone, and Mac. Following this, Yanling worked at Meta in various product design roles, including Director of Product Design and currently, Director of Privacy Product Design since February 2021, focusing on responsible data practices. Yanling also has a strong academic background, having served as an Assistant Professor of Digital Design at the University of Cincinnati and a Lecturer at San Jose State University, specializing in user experience design and visual communication. Yanling holds an MFA in Graphic Design and Human-Computer Interaction from Iowa State University and a BE in Industrial Design from Tongji University.
