Yanqi Gu

Yanqi Gu, PhD, possesses a robust background in cryptography and security research, accumulated through various roles in leading technology companies. Notable experiences include a researcher position at JD.COM focusing on Secure Federated Learning, a doctoral researcher role at UC Irvine under Prof. Stanislaw Jarecki, and a data and applied scientist role at Microsoft engaged in security research. Yanqi Gu has also contributed to Intel Corporation by developing a privacy-preserving IoT system leveraging Homomorphic Encryption. Additionally, as a software engineer at Intertrust, work was conducted on Fully Homomorphic Encryption.
