Yao Ding

Yao Ding, PhD, is an accomplished researcher with a strong focus on accessibility in technology. Experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin, an Intern and Technology Support at the Communication Aids & Systems Clinic, and a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After obtaining a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Yao Ding worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Maryland before becoming the Accessibility Research Lead at Meta, where responsibilities include building the capacity of accessibility research and driving innovations in AR/VR/AI. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Tsinghua University and both a Master of Science and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
