Yao Huang

Yao Huang is a mechanical engineer and product designer with extensive experience across various sectors, including automotive, semiconductor, and energy efficiency. Yao's career began at Dongfeng Motor Corporation Technical Center, focusing on car crush testing and simulation. Subsequent roles at Honghua International Co., Ltd., and HongHua America, LLC involved designing mechanical structures and parts in compliance with industry standards using CAD software. Research experience includes work at the Chinese National Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing Equipment and Technology and multiple roles at Texas A&M University, designing mesh models for fluid dynamics and conducting air pressure testing. At Applied Materials, Yao designed components for semiconductor equipment, emphasizing material properties and performance metrics. Currently positioned as a product designer at Meta in the San Francisco Bay Area, Yao continues to apply advanced engineering skills in product development. Yao holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a Master's degree in Hydraulics and Fluid Power Technology from Texas A&M University.
