Yi-Chen Kuo

Yi-Chen (Janet) Kuo is an experienced mechanical and thermal engineer with a diverse background in opto-mechanical design and product development. Kuo has worked at several prestigious companies including Meta, where the current role as an opto-mechanical engineer focuses on AR display light engine design, and Oculus VR, leading design efforts for the Rift S and QuestPro display modules. Prior experience includes roles at MiTAC Inc. and Apple, where Kuo successfully contributed to the development and mass production of key products such as the MacBook Pro. With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's in Bio-Mechatronics engineering from National Chiayi University, Kuo combines technical expertise with strong design capabilities.
