Yi Ren is a Research Scientist at Meta since June 2022, bringing a strong background in machine learning and operations research. Prior experience includes roles as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon in 2019, a Software Engineer Intern focusing on Machine Learning at Facebook in 2021, and serving as both a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Columbia University from September 2017 to May 2019. Yi Ren holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University, awarded in 2022, as well as a Master's degree in the same field from Columbia University earned in 2018. Additionally, Yi Ren completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at Fudan University in 2017.
