Yibing Tang

Yibing Tang is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently employed at Meta since January 2019, Yibing contributes to cutting-edge hardware engineering projects. Previously, Yibing held the position of Senior Hardware Manager at Infinera from November 2007, overseeing multiple line modules and muxponder products as a project lead. Prior roles include Principal Hardware Engineer at INPHENIX, Inc. between 2003 and 2007, and Chief Electrical Engineer at both INPHENIX, Inc. and Axon Photonics from 2000 to 2003. Yibing holds a master's degree in electronics and information from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, earned between 1986 and 1993.
