Yichen Wang

Yichen Wang has extensive experience in software engineering and research within prominent technology companies. As a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook, Yichen contributed to enhancing graph neural network capabilities for abusive advertiser detection. At Amazon Web Services, Yichen improved the OpsCenter console's frontend and backend, simplifying remediation processes utilizing TypeScript and React/Redux. Previous experience includes anomaly detection at Nokia Bell Labs and multi-sensor data fusion research at The University of British Columbia. Currently, Yichen serves as a Research Scientist at Meta, addressing GenAI integrity and business integrity challenges. Yichen also worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on computational social science. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Science and Technology of China and both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder in Computer Science.
