Yihui Saw has extensive experience in software engineering, beginning with a role as an Undergraduate Researcher at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab from May 2010 to May 2011. Yihui then interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Google during the summer of 2013 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Fluid Interfaces Group, MIT Media Lab from June 2012 to July 2014. After obtaining two Master of Engineering degrees in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014, Yihui served as a Software Engineer at Formlabs from September 2014 to October 2018, before moving to Meta where Yihui continues to work as a Software Engineer.
