Yimu Wang

Yimu Wang has significant experience in the field of perception engineering and automated driving technology. At Motional from November 2016 to November 2017, Yimu contributed to the self-driving car program, helping facilitate over 100,000 paid rides in the Lyft network while also leading localization efforts as a Principal Engineer. Prior to this, Yimu worked as a Perception/Deep-learning Engineer at Uber, where a lidar-based deep learning detector was developed. Since August 2021, Yimu has been a Research Engineer at Meta. Yimu Wang holds a Bachelor's degree from Sichuan University and has also pursued further education at Carnegie Mellon University.
