Ying Zhang

Ying Zhang is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Meta since April 2017, specializing in LLM and MovieGen inference optimization, as well as serving as a tech lead manager for AITemplate, an open-source ML compiler that significantly enhances GPU performance for NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Databricks and Google, where contributions involved building anti-spam infrastructures and knowledge graph collections, respectively. Ying's earlier career at Alibaba Cloud Computing focused on distributed data warehouse systems, and initial experience as an intern at Microsoft included developing automated testing frameworks. Ying holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
