Yingming Chen

Yingming Chen is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in leading software development teams across prominent tech companies. Currently at Airtable since June 2021, Yingming focuses on democratizing software creation by managing multiple teams. Prior experience includes a tenure at Facebook from January 2016 to June 2021, where Yingming led a full-stack engineering team to enhance Messenger as a key communication platform. Previous roles include senior software engineering positions at Box, where Yingming contributed to a real-time collaboration tool, and Microsoft, where contributions were made to the email delivery service for Outlook.com. Yingming began a career in research as a research assistant at Washington University in St. Louis. Yingming holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
