Yining Chen

Yining Chen is a seasoned software engineer with experience at Meta since July 2022 and as a software engineer co-op at Vistan Health from June 2021 to September 2021. Previously, Yining worked as an intern in the actuarial department at China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. in May 2019, where data science skills were applied to forecast IBNR reserves using R. Yining's entrepreneurial experience includes owning a design business from December 2015 to June 2018, successfully managing operations, publishing weekly comic content, and selling hand-painted avatars. Yining holds a master's degree in Information Systems from Northeastern University, and dual bachelor's degrees in Journalism from Shanghai Gench University and in Statistics and Labor Studies from Rutgers University, achieving a 3.63 and 3.821 GPA respectively.
