Yiruo Lu is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in industrial and systems engineering and material chemistry. Currently serving as a Data Scientist in Product Analytics at Meta since June 2024, Yiruo previously held positions as a Senior Data Scientist at Walmart from July 2023 to June 2024 and as a Research Data Scientist at Meta from September 2022 to June 2023. Prior experience includes an Operations Research Data Science Internship at Facebook in 2021 and a Research and Development Fellow Internship at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator in 2020. Yiruo holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Material Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
