Yixin Wang possesses a diverse background in both engineering and mathematics, with relevant experience that includes roles as a Software Engineer at Meta since July 2025 and an earlier Software Engineer Intern at Bausch + Lomb, where a prototype for Eye Care workflows was developed. Prior to these positions, Yixin served as a Machine Learning Research Intern at SLB, contributing to advancements in real-time logging while drilling and co-authoring a technical paper presented at the SPWLA Annual Logging Symposium. Additionally, Yixin worked as a Teaching Assistant at the NYU Courant Institute, assisting with courses in numerical computing and probability. An undergraduate research project focused on randomized partial trace estimation led to co-authorship of a published paper. Yixin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from New York University and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science at Cornell University.
