Yoav Blum

Yoav Blum is an experienced professional in the field of deep learning and computer vision, currently serving as a Computer Vision Engineer at Meta since February 2024. Prior to this role, Yoav Blum held positions as Director of AI and Senior Deep Learning Researcher at Nucleai from June 2020 to May 2022, and worked as a Senior Deep Learning Researcher at General Motors from May 2019 to May 2020. Yoav Blum also has a background in the Israeli Defense Forces, where responsibilities included Communication and DSP Engineer, AI and Algorithms Research Team Leader, and Head of Technicians Team from January 2014 to October 2016. Academically, Yoav Blum obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, followed by a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
