Youmin Wang is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and research, with a strong focus on MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) and optical technologies. Wang began a career as a Graduate Student Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in micromirror design and endoscopic imaging for early cancer detection. Following this, Wang served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Berkeley, working on MEMS-based Optical Phased Arrays. As a Tech Lead Manager and Senior Staff Engineer at DiDi, Wang led a team to develop LiDAR sensors for autonomous vehicles. Additionally, Wang co-founded Raydian Inc., which developed high-performance LiDAR sensors before its acquisition by DiDi.
