Yu Rong has extensive experience in artificial intelligence research, having served as a Research Intern at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) from January to May 2020, where the focus was on utilizing SMPL-X for 3D motion representation of the full body. Currently, Yu Rong is a Research Engineer at Meta since March 2022, working on large language model post-training for role-play chatbots and developing human-centric Foundation Models for motion, landmark, and shape estimation. Yu Rong holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, obtained in 2021.
