Yudi Sun

Yudi Sun is a software engineer at Meta since July 2024, focusing on the MTIA's compiler and runtime. Prior to this role, Yudi worked as a Machine Learning Compiler Engineer Intern at Amazon Web Services from May 2022 to July 2023, contributing to the development of compiler and runtime support for custom machine learning accelerators. Yudi has also gained research experience as a Research Intern at Vector Institute, where participation included developing a temporal query language for streaming data analysis. Additionally, Yudi served as a GEARS Mentor for first-year engineering science students at the University of Toronto and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Advanced Aerospace Structures Lab. Yudi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Machine Intelligence from the University of Toronto and completed an International Baccalaureate Diploma at Winston Churchill High School.
